The Business Crime Reduction Centre (BCRC) is an initiative which helps small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Yorkshire and Humber region tackle problems caused by crime. BCRC is funded by the European Regional Development Fund and is a project managed by People United Against Crime working in partnership with the region's four police forces.
What we do
The Business Crime Reduction Centre provides free and impartial advice to businesses through a network of professionally qualified Business Security Advisers.
The Business Crime Reduction Centre offers a wide range of services for businesses including:
- Physical security surveys of business premises
- ICT security surveys including Wi-Fi and internet activities
- Local business collaboration networks for information sharing and group security
- ICT security training for employees
- Wireless security sweeps for business premises
- Forensic marking of property
- Provision of laptop trackers
